Is there a word "kreel" or "creel" that refers to camera/film/audio something? If so, what?

It sounds very familiar and is used in a context referring to other camera/video terminology, but I can't find anything to verify it with on the web - simply that it is a term for a basket fishermen use and refers to a part on a sewing machine. Anyone? Anyone?
