Do electric fan heaters eat up a lot of electricity?

Not much more than a toaster or a coffee pot only it's going to be on for more than just 10 minutes or so. Just try to make sure it isn't on all night and only on in the room which needs heating. If you compare the cost of heating the entire house Vs, just one room with one of those tiny heaters it'll be worth it.
