I`ve just bought a house with a cat flap...?

I aint got a cat - do I have to get one now or buy a new door because its a new door they`ve got anyways... I cant live with a cat flap and no cat and I dont really want a cat and I dont want to have to part with the best part of 300 quid for a new door when the door is already new.. what shall I do ?
