Ps2 Help!?!?!?!?!?

Sup Dudes, Well I GOt This Game Off Amazon, Metal Gear SOlid 3, from germany, and it has a NTSC/U/C label instead of PAL, and wont work on my PS2 (im in the UK), is there a way to change it or am i screwed? xx
