Why do people choose to commit suicide by burning alive?

In South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangledesh, Afganistan, Iran, Nepal and Tibet) the most popular form of suicide amoung women is to burn alive. Burning women is also a common murder form in so called "honour killings". This crosses religious grounds, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, even Buddist and Christian women face this horrible fate.
