Why do some of you downplay China's military?

They are only 1 generation behind NATO in terms of technology. Don't even talk about training, they're a totalitarian regime that follows no human rights. The Chinese soldiers are pissed off machines. Not spoiled NATO troops living in old Europe and rich America. They have the numbers, and they're the second biggest economy right now. In 10 years it's predicted it will take over America as the largest economy in the world. China is already building bases in South America, Africa, Asia, and the middle east. What will be your excuse when they catch up technologically (another 10 years) ??
